St. Andrew's Scots Kirk is an international - interdenominational church located in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. We welcome you to our Web site and hope you find this information useful. Moreover, we also like to invite you and welcome you to one of our services, activities or other church events, as presented at this site.

Our main service of worship takes place on Sunday mornings at 9.30am. This is open to all and will normally last for one hour. The style of worship is “informally traditional”. After the service, all are invited for coffee/tea at the Manse (the house behind the church building).

It is our hope and prayer that you will be blessed through our ministry, services, activities and web site.

Who are we? - Where we have come from

St. Andrew’s is a branch of the Church of Scotland. It is administered by the local membership through a board of Elders appointed from the congregation. While English is the chosen language of communication, many non-native English speakers worship with us.

1. To provide a worship service which truly reflects the rich variety  of  Christian denominations that our church family represents.

2. To worship God the Father through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in the power of the Holy Sprit of God.

3. To offer a welcome in Christian love to all who come to us.

4. To invite faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord

6. To discover and develop our skills in Christian service

7. To reach out to those in need in the name of Christ.

St. Andrew’s is situated on Galle Road, the most western Road in Colombo next to the sea shore. On Galle Road you can find us between the DFCC Bank and The Cinnamon Grand, close to Galle Face.
